Shannon Gagne, Visual Artist
As a practicing artist, my work is inspired by the coastal world around me. I specialize in fused glass mosaics, firing glass to create polished edges and luminous surfaces that allow me to build movement, texture, and rhythm within each piece. Alongside glass, I also work in ceramics and photography, and mixed media.
Living by the shore has shaped both my life and my artistic voice. The coastline, shifting light, sea life, and sense of community continually inspire me. My creative process is meditative—an act of healing, reflection, and connection. Through kiln-fired glass, handmade ceramic elements, and imagery inspired by the sea,
Through my work, I hope to invite others to pause, reflect, and reconnect with beauty, memory, and the restorative power of nature. Each piece becomes both a personal journey and an offering of connection—celebrating the quiet strength, wonder, and healing found along the shoreline.
